Budge It Drains, Inc. is a Bridgewater, Massachusetts drain-cleaning company working across eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island — clogged sinks, tubs and toilets, sewer mains, camera locates and pipe lining, with emergency call-outs. The Better Business Bureau has accredited it since 2014 and grades it A, a grade the BBB page attributes to two complaints on file. What customers praise most is speed. Reviewers describe crews arriving within an hour on a Sunday, on New Year's Eve, and in an ice storm; one was sent from an hour away after a string of other companies could not come at all. The diagnostic work draws specific praise too: a camera run that showed a homeowner years of pipe damage and avoided a full replacement, another that found no blockage at all and said so, and one office that talked a customer down to a cheaper camera-and-jet approach instead of the job he had asked to buy. A plumbing company says it refers all its drain work here, and a church with its sewer main backed up mid-food-pantry describes a crew that cleared it and stayed courteous through the chaos. The other half of the record is consistent enough to plan around. Several customers describe damage during the work and no accountability afterwards: one says a technician broke a pipe in February 2025 and caused water damage to the apartment below with compensation refused; a BBB reviewer describes three hours of snaking that ended in waste water flooding the home, after which they say the owner pulled the crew off the job; a long-standing customer says techs damaged a drain line and the owner offered nothing. Price is the second thread — a reviewer quoted $190 by phone says a camera run cost $400, another says a $600-plus visit did not fix the problem, and a July 2026 customer says a $190 diagnostic ended in a misdiagnosis and a recommendation for an unnecessary and expensive procedure. Several of these accounts describe the owner as rude or refusing to discuss it. So: a fast, well-equipped emergency drain company with real technical depth, and a documented pattern of disputes when something goes wrong. Get the diagnostic fee and the price for the actual work in writing before the truck arrives, ask who carries liability if a pipe breaks, and get the recommendation in writing before agreeing to anything larger.

Cannot say I have had a great experience: They did not say up front how much it would cost to check out the problem (they ended up charging 190$) but also misdiagnosed the problem and recommended a very expensive procedure (that turned out to be unnecessary). It is really the combination of the price tag plus the fact that the information given was incorrect (I could live with either of those individually but both is not great)
They came out two years ago and they were flowing water. This time they’re not. There still a good amount of water in the drains. So I called to ask about it. Who ever answered the phone was rude and laughing at me. He said quote “ they’re supposed to have water in them.” There is a slight pitch from one bay to the next. Water isn’t moving at all from one drain to the next.
Excellent work. Efficient and a job well done A+++ Mike and Mike cleared 80 years of roots out of a pipe. Excellent work.
Budge It Drains is the best of the best. My plumbing company refers them for all of our drain cleaning needs and they deliver, every time. Their work is well done, they find cost effective solutions, and they respond very quickly (almost always same day). At our commercial building, they found an option to save underground piping that kept clogging. We thought it might need replaced and by milling it, they fixed our problem and saved us thousands of dollars and the headache of digging up our front entry.
Great Company, Professional, They get the job done.
