BV Plumbing & Heating holds 5.0 stars from 29 HomeAdvisor ratings, and nine of its 25 written reviews there name Peter. Those reviews run from 2019 to 2024. In a 2021 review, a customer said Peter did a thorough site inspection, explained his labor pricing and roughly how long the job would take instead of giving a fixed quote, then removed and replaced the water heater; after clean-up and disposal, the bill came in 20% under what they had budgeted. That customer called him a third-generation plumber. Other accounts are just as specific. In a 2020 review, a customer said Peter found a leak and cut an access opening at the back of a shower, keeping the cuts as neat as possible and the area clean. A May 2023 reviewer said the scope of the project grew but he still finished it that day, and an August 2023 customer said he repaired a prior contractor's poor work. In 2024, a customer whose toilet needed clearing said the job was done immediately and the bill was reasonable. Four reviews from 2019 to 2024 describe the price as fair or reasonable. The South Portland business is listed on HomeAdvisor for plumbing installs, faucet, fixture and pipe repair, and water heater installation and service. HomeAdvisor lists Maine trade licence MS90016382.
I needed my toilet cleared out to work properly. I tried to take care of it myself, but as anyone could tell you that I am definitely not a plumber. So, I needed to hire a professional to do the job. The job was done immediately and the bill was very reasonable. Anytime I even think about any plumbing work, I know who to call.
Peter is outstanding. Came in, diagnosed the problem and got right to work. Very clean, professional and courteous. Gave me a time that he would be on site and was on time. I highly recommend Peter for any of your plumbing needs. Found our plumber for life.
Peter was amazing. He repaired a prior contractor's poor work. Such a personable and professional young man. I would highly recommend him.
Great guy! Clean and efficient would definitely call him again
Peter was very responsive. He showed up when he said he would and although the scope of the project expanded, he finished it that day. So many tradesmen are unreliable these days but Peter was the best. I would hire him again in a minute.
