Big Wave Plumbing is a plumbing business holding 5.0 stars from 10 ratings on both HomeAdvisor and Angi. Its website describes plumbing fixture installation and repair, naming sinks, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, showerheads and dishwashers, and the company says it has been in business four years. A 2025 Google customer said Elliott got back in touch immediately, fit them into his schedule within a couple of days and fixed a leaking toilet quickly for a price they called more than reasonable. That 2025 customer also said Elliott mentioned a partial refund CMP offers for first-time leaks, which ended up saving them more than they paid for the repair. A 2025 customer with a basement bathroom pump problem said Big Wave got back to them when promised and explained over the phone how to fix it themselves, with no charge. A 2025 customer said Elliot looked at the damage and the surrounding area on his first visit, offered multiple options to correct the problem and recommended piping updates because some older installations in their older home did not meet current code. A 2025 customer said Elliot explained how he would bring a water heater installation up to current code for Maine. A 2025 customer said Big Wave Plumbing & Gas got their water heater up to code and clearly explained everything that needed to be done. A 2025 customer said Elliot sourced and plumbed a tub, plumbed a dishwasher and repaired plumbing for their bathroom sink. A recent HomeAdvisor customer praised a prompt reply and the workmanship.

Prompt reply. Professional. Nice workmanship.
After weeks of most local plumbers either never getting back in touch with me, telling me there would be a several week wait, or informing me that they weren't taking new clients for smaller jobs (unless I paid a steep emergency fee in one case), and nearly being scammed into replacing both my toilets that are only a few years old, I found Elliott at Big Wave Plumbing through Angie's List. Elliott got back in touch with me immediately and managed to fit me into his schedule within only a couple of days, fixing my leaking toilet impressively quickly for a more than reasonable price. Elliott even mentioned CMP offering a partial refund for first-time leaks, something that no one else had mentioned to me (including CMP), which ended up saving me more than what I paid to get the leak fixed. Couldn’t recommend them more.
I spoke Big Wave on the phone ans explained my problem (basement bathroom pump). He said he would get back to me, which he did when he stated he would. The upshot was- he had researched my problem and over the phone told me how to fix it myself. No charge, courteous, friendly, and prompt! Call this business for your plumbing issues. Terrific. 10 stars!!!!
Elliot was kind, courteous, professional and extraordinarily helpful. In his initial visit he looked at the damage, and the surrounding area, and provided me with multiple options to correct the problem. He had researched Reverse Osmosis systems, and discussed a newer product that was infinately superior to my current system. He recommended updates to piping as I have an older home, and some older installations did not meet current code requirements. I found Eliot to me very knowledgable, prompt and trustworthy....I Highly recommend him!!!!
