A garage's slate roof had leaked for years before BW Roofing repaired it, according to a June 2016 Thumbtack review. The customer said it had not leaked since. BW Roofing, listed in South Hadley, describes its work on Thumbtack as residential and commercial roofing, including stripping and reshingling, flat roofs, slate repairs and chimney repair and pointing. Its written customer accounts date from 2014 through 2017. In a January 2016 review, a customer thanked Bruce Williams for working through cold weather to repair damage to their roof and gutters. A September 2015 reviewer said they hired Bruce for roof and ceiling work, were satisfied and would hire him again. In May 2017, another Thumbtack customer praised a thorough roof repair and reasonable pricing. Painting also features in a December 2017 review. That customer said BW Roofing and Painting painted the back of their house, gave an estimate below competitors' estimates, worked quickly and kept communicating as the work progressed. Painting the rest of the exterior the following spring was still a plan when they wrote. An August 2014 HomeAdvisor reviewer praised Bruce's craftsmanship, interest in old houses, willingness to listen to homeowner concerns and reliability about arriving when promised. Thumbtack shows 4.9 stars from nine ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 stars from four ratings.

I will be calling for more work in the Spring!
BW Roofing and Painting painted the back of our house. Everything about the experience was excellent! The estimate was lower than his competitors, but the quality was fantastic. The work was also done quickly, and there was constant communication as it progressed. I would recommend BW highly, and in fact we are going to have them paint the rest of the exterior of our home in the spring.
BW Roofing was very professional and very thorough. He was able to find and fix a very stubborn like at a very reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend him to other people needing roof work.
I highly recommend B&D Painting and contractor, Bruce Williams for the quality of work done and the very reasonable price I paid. Don't be put off by the company title, B&D Painting, Bruce is an all around expert roofer, builder, restorer, house painter and more, and you won't regret hiring him to do any job you may have! His honesty and integrity are rare qualities in any profession and I want to spread the word by highly recommending him!
