J. Sicard Construction, Inc.

A whole-house siding job finished in less than a week is how one family described J. Sicard Construction in an October 2024 Google review, posted on behalf of a grandfather. The South Hadley contractor handles siding and roofing, with customer reviews spanning 2022–2024. That family praised the updates, answers to questions, finished work and price. Other 2024 customers described roofs as well as siding. A September Google reviewer said the crew arrived within days of agreeing to a quote and completed the roof project in one day. In April, another homeowner described a new gazebo roof and said Jody provided updates and photographs during installation. These are accounts of particular jobs, with the timing described by those customers. Google lists a 4.9-star average from 29 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each list 4.7 stars. Repair work features in the older accounts too. In July 2023, owners of a 1901 house described wind-damaged aluminum siding on the upper front story. Jody suggested vinyl shingles and obtained samples while they considered the appearance. The homeowners attributed a delivery delay to the material order, then said installation happened the day after the shingles arrived, with cleanup they praised. A July 2023 Thumbtack customer also described a siding issue being addressed within hours of contacting the company, months after the original installation. A July 2023 Google reviewer described storm damage to a roof and said Jody inspected the construction, explained the source of the problem and told them it was covered by insurance. The customer reported receiving a new roof. In a separate August 2023 Thumbtack review, a customer said a $350 repair had stopped a leak for a year after other companies quoted substantially more. There is also a missed-appointment complaint: an October 2022 HomeAdvisor reviewer said the company never showed up and did not return calls. The BBB profile lists roofing, siding, slate repair and storm- and wind-damage repair, along with registration and construction-supervisor licence numbers; those are directory claims. In a September 2022 review, a homeowner described garage siding completed quickly, with the debris removed and the surrounding area left tidy.
