C&C Moves

When someone on r/northshore asked for a local mover in April 2026, C&C Moves is the name that came back — and kept coming back. One commenter said they had used the Beverly company four times; another seconded it in June 2026 and added that Curtis, the owner, had shown up to work the move himself on two of the three jobs they had booked. The person who started the thread hired C&C and reported back that the crew was communicative, reasonably priced and accommodating. C&C Moves runs residential and small-business moves out of Beverly, along with college and university moves and junk removal, covering the North Shore and Greater Boston, and listing Beverly, Essex, Ipswich, Peabody and Salem among its towns. The company says it has been at this for 15 years and gives free estimates. On Google it sits at 4.3 stars from 84 ratings. The sharpest account is older: in April 2025, a commenter on r/SalemMA said C&C beat Gentle Giant's quote by miles, that the crew was efficient, and that the job came in an hour under the estimate. For a straightforward North Shore move where the quote matters, this is a reasonable call. Get the estimate in writing, ask what the hourly rate covers and how long the crew expects the job to take, and check who will actually be on the truck the day you move.
