C&G Heating and Air Conditioning

Twice a year, C&G Heating and Air Conditioning comes out to service one customer's a/c and heating system under an annual maintenance agreement that customer has held for several years. It says it has been in business for 125 years and offers 24/7 emergency service. A customer who had a new furnace installed said the installation began right on time, and that afterward they went over how the furnace worked, showed manuals and asked if there were questions. When one customer's A/C stopped working, C&G sent someone out the same day, and the tech, Dylan, diagnosed the issue and had the A/C running in about 30 minutes. On a furnace cleaning, a customer said Nate took his time with the cleaning and inspection, explained things about their boiler, and wiped up the hallway floor afterward. A customer said Madison replaced the belt on the furnace motor and finished by oiling the rotors. A customer in Harwinton wrote that Alex has serviced their HVAC system for the past 8 years and explains the work in simple terms. A customer with twice-a-year maintenance said C&G costs more than smaller companies, but will respond in an emergency. A 2026 caller said the company would not recharge or service a precharged mini split that had not been installed by a licensed HVAC technician. A 2025 reviewer objected to a company ad for R-410a systems, which that reviewer called outdated.
