Our family has had a very good experience with C&H restoration for our balcony and roof project this spring. We had held off for about a year, doing our research and comparing quotes from other local companies, before finally deciding to work with Carlos and his team. We made the right decision. Carlos has been professional, honest, and reliable from the very start, with a thoughtful initial assessment on-site to providing a highly detailed quote. Together with Pete, they were able to answer all of our questions and helped us understand why their quote was much more expensive than others. It all came down to the structural integrity and craftsmanship of the roof work to lay the foundation for the balcony / deck itself. Having witnessed the day-to-day work, I'm glad we did not take any shortcuts and made the investment by working with this company. After signing the contract, Carlos worked on the permit application right away and it was quickly approved. We were given a lead time of about 2 months, mostly waiting on a stretch of 5 days without any rain; in fact, the project started a week prior to the estimated start, which we did not mind at all. The team spent 4 days alone working 10 hours daily on just the roof. The work was meticulous and highly regulated, in accordance with the permit application they sent to the city. Carlos runs a tight operation and his team works reliably and in synchrony to get the work done. There were always at least 2 men on site working together, depending on the task at hand and the expertise of the individual. The team arrived every morning at the same time and cleaned up nicely at the end of the day. Because we were using a neighbor's driveway for part of the project, they were extra thorough and considerate about the clean-up process. Throughout the project, which lasted a total of 8 days, Carlos was available via text and phone to answer questions I had. At one point near the end, I gave some feedback on something that needed attention about the ice and water shield. Carlos addressed it right away--his team returned to fix the issue the next day. In all, this has been the most smooth and professional experience we've had with a contractor. The communication was reliable, the work was high quality, and the whole process followed what was laid out in the permit application. I appreciate that Carlos was receptive to feedback and acted in a prompt manner. I applaud his leadership and the integrity of his work. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience for us! We've already been enjoying the balcony for 2 weeks now, without any issues.

I called and set up a free estimate to get my house's front entrance and sidewalk redone with pavers and bluestone for the platform and step. The lady I talked to was super nice and said Carlos, the owner, would come give me an estimate and show me samples. Then I got a call from Peter, who told me they took on a $20,000 deck job and didn't have time to give me a quote. He said if I sent him pictures and measurements, he could give me a price. I sent him the pictures and measurements but didn't hear back. After I texted him again, he came back with a ridiculously high price, just trying to get rid of me. Luckily for me, I've been shopping around for the best deal, so I'd already gotten two other quotes from pros, and both were about $3,000 less. I can't really say much about the company or their work since I obviously said no to a $9,000 offer when two other companies were around $6,000. I will say that Peter was super unprofessional, and he could've just said they were booked this year and only doing decks, and I would've been fine with it and moved on. But dealing with Peter and this company was such a waste of my time.

After doing the customary search for a company to replace my worn-out desks I am glad that I came across C&H Restoration. Before I had agreed to their estimate, I reached out to a few more companies. One never returned my call. Another was very pricey, and others claimed they would not be able to fit me into their schedule. This all worked out very well for me because not only was I impressed with the C&H Restoration mobile showroom, but their level of craftsmanship is second to none. I had entertained the thought of redoing my deck on my own but after seeing the finish product that Carlos and his team put together, there is no way that I could have come close to what they have done. I am very happy with the level of service and now have firsthand knowledge of why they have such a high rating of reviews. I look forward to working with them on my next project. Update 7-23-25 I failed to mention my second project using C&H Restoration last year. I had them removed my concrete stamped sidewalk and install paving stones. They certainly did not disappoint. I have a couple of before and after photos. My third project with C&H Restoration went very well. I am once again pleased with the work they completed. The area around my pool was not easy to work with but they took an old weather beaten deck out and install the new. I unfortunately forgot to take a few before photos but have one that shows both pressure treated wood decks that were replaced. The rest show their excellent workmanship!

We just had the work around our house flawlessly completed by C & H Restoration. They did a beautiful job installing a brand new Trex deck on our Raised Ranch along with all new pavers to complete a walkway and patio below. Compliments from all of our neighbors. Working with Carlos and his team was a pleasure. They showed up every day on time and were pleasant to have round...We're going to miss those guys! As in all projects issues arise. But they were very flexible and accommodating making our vision into reality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to have work done around your house. Thank you, C & H, for all of your hard work!
