Every review C&K Outdoor Services has names the same person: Kevin. Customers describe him quoting the job, showing up when he said he would, doing the work and cleaning up after — and the eight accounts on file all landed between May and July of this year, which tells you this is a young business building its record in real time rather than an established firm with a long history behind it. The work spans two things that usually come from two different companies. On the outdoor side it is mowing, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, mulch and decorative rock, garden beds, timber retaining walls, seasonal cleanups, storm cleanup and planting. On the other it is junk removal — furniture, appliances, garage and basement cleanouts and construction debris — run out of the same Peabody operation. The accounts are specific. In July a customer described a basement cleanout of years of old furniture and boxes, saying Kevin arrived on time, worked quickly, cleaned up before leaving and communicated well throughout. In June another listed a job that included bucking up a large fallen branch, a lawn cut, overseeding and trimming the shrubs around the house, and called the quote fair. In May a customer said a completely overgrown yard was transformed in a single day, with the edging, trimming and cleanup all done properly. A commercial property manager writing the same month said Kevin and his crew keep the property maintained week after week and always show up when scheduled. What you cannot learn from this record is how the business handles a season it has not yet worked through, a dispute, or a job that goes wrong — there is simply no history of that yet, and no licence record was found for it either. Hire this one for mowing, cleanups, brush and cleanout work where responsiveness matters more than a long track record. Get the scope and price in writing, ask for a certificate of insurance before anyone works on your property, and if your job involves retaining walls or other permanent structures, ask for the Home Improvement Contractor registration number and confirm it with the state.
