Callahan Roofing

A roof replacement was not always Callahan Roofing's answer. In an August 2024 Google review, a homeowner said Ed explained why their existing shingles had more years of life and helped demonstrate that to an insurer that had questioned the roof's age. The customer credited that help with avoiding a major replacement expense. Callahan Roofing says it has provided Cape Cod roofing services since 1999. Its website describes an Eastham-based residential and commercial business run by Edward, or Ed, Callahan, who personally provides estimates and is on-site. It offers asphalt roof replacement, repairs, inspections and skylight work, with a stated service area extending from Provincetown to Falmouth and Sandwich. Customers writing in 2024 described replacement roofs, repairs and skylight installations. An April reviewer said Edward and his team reroofed a house and shed and installed skylights in a sunroom, completing the work as promised. An October reviewer described reroofing a 102-year-old cottage: the crew arrived on the agreed date, finished in one day and left the yard without nails or wood fragments. Another October customer said Ed's final price matched his estimate and that he remained available to discuss the work while they were out of state. A November reviewer likewise reported no additional charges for a replacement roof. Cleanup received repeated praise in those dated accounts. An April 2024 customer described old-shingle removal and magnetic sweeping for fallen nails, with Mr. Callahan overseeing the job throughout. That customer also reported no leaks. A November 2024 reviewer praised the work and competitive price but found a few old nails near the house afterward. Callahan's Google review history runs from 2022 through 2024. Its BBB page carries an A+ grade. In a December 2022 Google review, a prospective rental-property buyer who lived two and a half hours away said the contractor visited the property to examine the roof from outside, gave an opinion on its condition and declined payment for the visit. The reviewer had not met him in person and described the inspection as helpful while considering the property.
