Campbell Electric is a Braintree fire-alarm and electrical contractor that says it has served Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts commercial and residential customers for more than 40 years, and its non-accredited Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade. Its older written record backs that longevity: in reviews from 2021 through early 2025, property managers and homeowners praised the company by name — a 2025 review from a property-management client credits Barbara, Paul, and the crew with quality work and great follow-through across everything from luxury properties to mid-range rentals, and a 2024 review says Campbell always answers the phone for tenant emergencies, even after regular hours. That contrasts sharply with what showed up on Google more recently. Two 1-star reviews from April and June 2026 describe rude, disrespectful treatment — one calls the owner rude outright, the other says older staff members are rude and extremely disrespectful while newer hires are polite but unlikely to stick around under that management. Two other 2025 reviews read more like reactions to something the company posted online (one sarcastic about its advertising, one a political show of support) than accounts of actual electrical work. Campbell's decades of commercial and emergency work speak for themselves, but the recent complaints about how staff and ownership treat customers are worth asking about directly before booking a job.
