Tyler and his team replaced two old, timber retaining walls outside my walk-out basement. We have a lot of landscaping, and Tyler agreed to do the job without bringing in a Bobcat or other machinery that could cause damage, even though the manual approach made the job harder. The quality of the work is great, it looks excellent, and Tyler was super responsive and communicative all the way. Cape Cod Stoneworks is a fantastic masonry contractor. I’ve just hired Tyler again, this time to do some work on my front stoop.

Tyler is awesome. He’s professional, efficient, and more than fair. His crew did an excellent job installing a walkway that had been torn up when sewers were installed. I recommend this company without reservation and would not hesitate to hire them again.

To amend my previous review, I contracted with Cape COD Stoneworks on 7/12/22 after reviewing the plans with Tyler. The project had an estimated completion date of 9/10/23. I sent a number of requests for updates when the contractors didn't show. Many of which were never responded to. On 12/11/23, I mailed a certified letter to the address listed on the contract advising I was terminating. It was returned as undeliverable.

We hired Tyler and his company to add a deck and "bump out" addition to our garage. The work was supposed to be done in 2-3 months. We contracted with him in May and Fired him in November when the work was not even half done. He came up with every excuse imaginable for not getting the work done. It cost us another $3,000 to hire another contractor to finish the job. He may be a good stone mason but stay away from him if you have construction work!
