Two years after another contractor's bluestone patio began settling on the downslope, Rob and Brad pulled the stone up, regraded, added block to stabilize one edge and had it back together in a day — that is an April 2026 review, and fixing hardscape that has moved is now as much of the work as laying new. Earthworks Outdoor Living is a Harwich hardscape and stone masonry company run by Rob Stevens, which says it has been doing stone work on Cape Cod since 1995. Patios, walkways, driveways, stone walls, firepits and fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and steps are what it builds; planting and soft landscaping it refers to a partner company. The written accounts run from 2010 to this spring, and sixteen of the twenty-two name a patio or a walkway. Customers name the crew too, not just the company — Brad, Jayden and Kenny turn up alongside Rob. In a July 2024 review, a homeowner described Rob and Kenny grading and laying a stone patio on a difficult site plan and grade in September 2023, finished on time and within budget apart from extras the homeowners added themselves. The older jobs are still standing, by their owners' telling. A September 2025 review came from a homeowner whose bluestone walkway the crew laid in 2019: six years on it still looked right, and Rob was back that year to put in a firepit with a matching patio. A May 2026 review describes three days spent resetting a patio whose blocks had gone uneven and whose pavers had separated. Money comes up steadily and in the same direction — a November 2024 review calls the bid competitive and fair, a June 2025 review calls the prices reasonable, and a May 2022 customer said the job stayed right on the cost estimate. The sour note is about reaching them. In October 2021 someone left two voicemails and a message through the website and got no answer; that review is a one-star. If your project also involves planting or lawn work, know going in that the soft-landscaping half goes to the partner company rather than to Rob's crew. For a paver or bluestone patio, a front walkway, or hardscape that has begun to shift and needs resetting, this is a crew that has done that one thing on the Cape for a long time. Get the scope in writing before the first delivery, and price extras as you add them — the July 2024 job that went past budget went past it only on extras the homeowner chose.
