Cardoza Flooring is a Milford, New Hampshire flooring retailer and installer, and the sheer weight of its reviews sets it apart in the trade — 150 Google ratings averaging 4.9 stars, a Houzz page at 5.0, a Better Business Bureau A+, and reviews stretching back to 2016. Reviewers consistently name a small cast of staff — Nicole, Jamie, Lisa, Rob, and owner Michael Cardoza himself among them — as the people who walk customers from the showroom floor to the finished install. The work described covers the full range of flooring: hardwood, carpet, tile, engineered wood, and vinyl plank, in kitchens, bathrooms, whole houses, and at least one named commercial job — a carpet install at Big Bear Lodge for the Andres Institute of Art. The trickier jobs stand out. A review from earlier this year describes replacing wall-to-wall carpet with red oak across an entire home; a 2025 review describes gluing down vinyl plank throughout an 1870s house with visibly crooked, uneven floors and getting everything to blend; and a 2022 review describes a slab-on-grade engineered hardwood job that needed far more tile demo and floor leveling than originally quoted. A 2023 review describes the crew coming back years after a carpet installation, out of warranty, to power-stretch out wrinkles at no charge. Worth knowing before calling: not every install goes perfectly, and reviewers don't agree on how well Cardoza handles it when something does go wrong. Several describe a problem — a mismatched tile pattern, a hump in a new floor — getting resolved quickly and to their satisfaction. But a review from January 2025 reports a new floor developing squeaks within a year, with the installer's response amounting to "we will do what we can," and a review from September 2024 describes needing to hire a different flooring company to fix an issue Cardoza wouldn't address. Recent activity has slowed to just two reviews in the last six months, though both are positive and the volume behind Cardoza's rating goes back nearly a decade. For a flooring job of almost any size or material in the Milford area, Cardoza looks like a well-established, generally reliable choice — worth asking specifically how they'd handle a post-install problem, given how differently that question played out for different customers.
I recently had hardwood flooring installed in my hallways and carpet on my stairway. The products I purchased, both hardwood and carpet are excellent quality. All the staff at the store, are extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. The install team did a beautiful job. In the past 2 years, I have had organic hardwood installed in my kitchen, luxury vinyl planks in my office and luxury vinyl in my bathrooms, all done to perfection. I trust Cardoza Flooring and highly recommend them. I also love supporting my local businesses and will not shop anywhere else.
The people at Cardoza Flooring were great to work with! They helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Installation went just as expected. Highly recommend.
I recently contracted Cardoza Flooring to take out my wall-to-wall carpeting and replace it with red oak flooring throughout my home. The entire team was professional, helpful, and skilled. Nicole, Jamie and their staff guided me through choosing the right flooring, and the installers were awesome--professional, neat, courteous and efficient! I highly recommend Cardoza Flooring for any flooring project. You will be very satisfied with the results.
I highly recommend Cardoza to anyone looking for floors. Nicole, Jamey and the entire team took great care of us. We had both tile and hardwood installed and are very happy with both. We had a concern with the original hardwood that was installed and the problem was addressed quickly, professionally, and Cardoza went beyond what I expected. In addition, both the tile and hardwood install teams worked hard to make sure we got the floors we had envisioned. We plan to go back to Cardoza again when it’s time to do the upstairs.
Cardoza recently installed engineered wood and vinyl floors in our condo and we are very happy with the results. The entire process of working with the people at Cardoza was a pleasure. Dan and Steve and Lisa in the showroom were very helpful when we were setting up the project and making our selections. Chris and Chris and Rob did an excellent job installing the flooring. They paid a lot of attention to detail at every stage of the job. They are real craftsmen. From start to finish, everyone was courteous and helpful and enthusiastic. We are delighted with our new floors.
