Carlson Tree Service

I live in Leicester, Ma. I had two large cottonwood trees that had grown and got very close to my house. I called Carlson Tree Service and the owner, Derek Carlson, came to my house the next day, surveyed the trees, and gave a phenomenal price for the job. Carlson Tree came a couple of weeks later with their equipment on the day and time Derek stated, and proceeded to cut down the large trees. The trees also had bittersweet vines attached that they had to cut down. In less than six hours, the trees were cut, chipped, and all debris removed from property. The Carlson team, including Derek, Charlie and Sonny, were friendly, as well as professional. If you have a nuisance type large tree, or trees, that you are putting off getting cut down, they won’t stop growing. Don’t hesitate to call Carlson Tree Service and get rid of the problem. Again, the price is very very reasonable. 🇺🇸

The crew was taking trees down for a neighbor and chipping the limbs. I had a good sized snowball tree come down in a recent storm. I asked Him if was interested in a quick job and they came right over and handled it in minutes. Saved me a long trip to the dump! Thank you!

Amazing! We recently had three old/massive evergreen pine trees (over 100 feet tall) removed from the front yard of our home in Holden, and we cannot recommend Derek and the team at Carlson Tree Service enough. These trees had been there since we bought the house in 2018 and were slightly leaning toward the front of our home. Every storm the branches would sway heavily, and over the years we had more than a dozen large branches fall directly into our yard. With a 1½ year old at home, it got to the point where every storm made me extremely nervous about the possibility of a tree falling and causing serious damage or injury. Derek and his crew were professional, hardworking, and always on time. What impressed me most was how efficiently they worked. You never saw anyone standing around. Everyone knew their role and kept moving. Removing trees of that size is no small job and the entire project took two full days, but they handled it with incredible skill and care. They also did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. When they finished, the yard looked great and you would barely know such a big project had just taken place. Most importantly, the peace of mind we now have knowing those trees are no longer a risk to our home and family is priceless. Considering the size and complexity of the job, the price was very fair. If you need tree work done in Central Massachusetts, I highly recommend Derek Carlson and Carlson Tree Service. Dan Holden, MA

Look elsewhere. This company gets tunnel vision with their job and has zero respect for the neighborhood they are working in. I have had to talk to them twice so far. Once for cutting branches down across the property lines and once for running equipment super early in a residential neighborhood. They will show up at your house at 6:00am with 5-8 trucks running. Our poor neighbor across the street is elderly and i feel bad for him. They have constantly walked across the neighbors yard. Pic is a great example of how they will treat your neighborhood. Plenty of places to park that are not directly in front of a fire hydrant.

I used Carlson Tree Service for two projects. The first being a summer job in which I had a big tree which a good chunk of the tree was over the house (too close for comfort). I had a complete tree removal with stump grinding. Even after stump grinding on the big tree, was able to fully grow grass in spot of the tree and now it looks like the tree was never there to begin with. The second project being in the winter when an ice storm knocked down two medium sized trees. Carlson came by to clean up the mess. I cannot recommend Carson tree service enough; they are highly responsive, friendly, offer great prices, and do an awesome job with respect to the projects at hand.
