A 2024 customer who needed a carpet right away said the woman who helped them was knowledgeable about what was available, and that they found a carpet within the parameters they needed. A 2022 customer said the store helped them choose the correct flooring type and that the install was very quick. On r/vermont in 2025, a commenter called the Woodstock Ave store decent but said that, when they last checked, it was booked out.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Tom and the entire Carpet Warehouse team took care of us through every stage of our complex project, including demo support, concrete leveling, and separate wood and carpet installs. We came to CW after poor/indifferent service from another local installer. Carpet Warehouse was courteous, helpful, timely, communicative, and delivered excellent results.
I will never buy a rug or carpet anywhere else. Carpet Warehouse is truly an amazing store. First off, lets talk about the amazing assortment of carpet vendors they offer. And the paint store within the carpet store is pure genius. Select your wall color with your carpet sample so it’s truly one stop shopping. But the best part for me are the people who work here. I couldn’t be more pleased with everyone who works there. Brianna, our main sales person, was so knowledgeable and helpful finding us the perfect carpets for our areas at the prices we wanted. She has a designers eye and a soothing personality and only focus is to get you what you want. Tom, the owner came out to measure the areas, and couldn’t have been more interested in our project, and interested in getting us the best job possible. He is truly a man who knows carpeting, Joanne and Kendra were both helpful and accomodating. It couldn’t have been better. Bottom line. Buying local is the best way to buy anyting. It puts food on our neighbors table and helps the community. Rutland, and southern VT, you’ve got a gem here. If you need rugs, paint or carpeting, this is the only place to go. You’ll get what you want and feel pampered throughout the process. I can’t thank Carpet Warehouse enough!!!
From top to bottom, this is the flooring company you want to do business with. Very pleased with the personal attention to detail and the ability to work with our tight schedule. Highly recommend Carpet Warehouse.
Wonderful experience. We needed a carpet right away. The woman that helped us was very knowledgable about what was available and we found a carpet within the parameters we needed. She was supper nice and accommodating. We def will do business there again.
