Casablanca Services has two very different faces, and which one you meet depends on what you hire them for. The commercial side is the strong one. The Boston Planning and Development Agency has contracted the Everett firm for downtown snow removal and property maintenance since 2021, and in 2023 the Greater Boston Chamber gave the BPDA its Minority Business Enterprise Partnership of the Year award for that relationship — the Chamber describing Casablanca as a minority-owned landscaping firm founded in 2004 by Yacine Ibrahimi, a Northeastern graduate. The company says it also holds a state-wide FAC120 contract. Its BBB profile, filed under the alternate name Casa Blanca Landscaping & Snow Removal, has been accredited since 2012 at an A+, with 23 years in business and four employees across the Everett yard and a second location on Herbert Street in Framingham. A 2022 reviewer put the commercial experience plainly: "Yacine and Nadir are amazing. They do an excellent job with snow removal at my property and area always available for questions or concerns." The consumer side is where the complaints sit, and both are recent. In January 2026 a customer who booked a mattress pickup a week ahead wrote that it never happened, that the phone staff "can only offer a 'call back' that never comes," and told others to use a different service. Days earlier another wrote that the crew "completely buried my dumpster and when spoken to about it came back and buried it even more as well as my fire exit," describing a bad attitude from the driver. Those two sit against one positive 2024 mattress pickup — "Appointment was easy to schedule, and pick up was prompt" — and pull the Google average to 3.4 across five ratings. The services list is broad: landscaping, hardscaping, patios and retaining walls, stone walkways, snow removal, fencing, sod and mulch, seasonal clean-ups, field management with rental equipment, and the mattress recycling that both complaints concern. So: for a commercial snow contract or grounds maintenance, there is a real institutional track record here and an accredited, long-established firm behind it. For a one-off residential job — especially a mattress pickup — get a firm date in writing and a direct number for someone who will answer, because that is exactly where the recent record goes wrong.
