Casco Bay Insulation works in attics and basements. On its website, the company says it uses dense pack cellulose insulation and vapor variable interior air barriers to create tight, moisture safe building envelopes, and it says it has been in business for 16 years. A recent customer had an attic cleaned out, air sealed and insulation blown in, and said they will work with the company again to insulate the basement. A 2025 customer said Josiah and a crew of Paul and Josh installed cellulose insulation in the attic in very cold weather. That 2025 customer said they cleaned up so well every day that you could not tell they had been there. A 2025 customer said their basement is now fully insulated and usable, where before it was too cold and drafty, and that the floors and closets upstairs are now warm. A 2025 customer said Jon and Josiah handled their four-story 1890s West End home, a job that involved partnering with the neighbors to insulate a shared eaves space. In that 2025 review, the customer said Jon was reliable to his committed times and cost. A 2026 customer said the air sealing and insulation work on their old home made the downstairs noticeably more comfortable on cold days that winter.
