We've been working on restoring an older building under a tight budget in the Sacopee area, eventually aiming to move my family in. Our upstairs walk-in attic was going to cost us a small fortune to insulate, prompting us to look at the rebates Efficiency Maine offered. We'd found Ecofit listed as a contractor that works with Efficiency Maine, and contacted Sean. Not only did he help us through the paperwork and understand exactly what we were getting, he worked with our budget to get the most out of our rebate, exploring the different options we had. His crew was friendly and professional, and answered any questions we had. We're quite satisfied with their work, and will look to hire them in the near future for the remaining pieces to the renovation. I'd highly recommend Ecofit!

One thing Sean has said that really stuck with me is that he won’t recommend something for someone else’s home that he wouldn’t do for his own family. That tells you a lot about how someone approaches their business. Sean is knowledgeable about insulation and energy efficiency, but he can also help people navigate available rebates and incentives, which can make improving a home much more approachable. There is a big difference between someone trying to sell you everything possible and someone helping you understand what your home actually needs. I'm extremely happy with my experience using Ecofit to insulate my basement. From the quoting process through completion everyone was right on time and very professional. I thought their price was fair as well. I've been in the construction industry my whole life and seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Ecofit is very good.

We had a great experience working with Sean and the Ecofit team. Sean took the time to inquire about our overall project (retrofit renovation of a 1960s split-level ranch) and pointed out opportunities for additional improvements to our property based on what we would be doing. We were curious about some of the building sciences involved, and he took the time to explain how the different improvements we were considering would impact the home. He also helped us to focus one which improvements would be of the greatest value, speaking practically (this is worth spending on / I don't think this would be worth spending your budget on). His insights helped guide where our efforts would be placed with the project. He provided us with the best quote out of the 4 we received (and handles the Efficiency Maine paperwork). His team was flexible and professional, working around the many other moving parts in place to help us meet timelines. Best of all, Sean is a great communicator - answering phone calls and emails promptly. We have already recommended Ecofit to friends and look forward to working with Sean again.
