There is a reason this company liquidated (no longer in business) but the minisplits they installed last year continues to have many issues. Does anyone know who can help repair the poor job they've done?
Con artist. Review probably won't even matter at this point since they're out of business. They installed a gas furnace about 2 years ago. Within the first year, I corrected 2 small issues the installers made which caused the equipment to malfunction. I didn't squawk at all, it was quicker to just do it myself, although I did inform Dave Casey (the owner) of the issues, who told me over text what to do to correct their mistakes, which I had no problem doing to save them trips out here for a 1 minute fix. Seems that they then filed for bankruptcy last year. Fast forward to a week or 2 ago and the furnace started malfunctioning, in the middle of the brutal winter we've been having. Turned out luckily to just be a stink bug in the pressure tubing, which AGAIN I resolved myself, only this time with calls & texts to Dave's cell phone (which were going through / delivered) ignored / unanswered. Out of business or not, no decency to even call / text back a former customer with a name & number / referral of someone who might be able to help, mind you on equipment that they installed less than 2 years ago? Con man.
Been trying to reach this company for days. Just a voice-mail. No returned calls. Was looking to have a new AC/Heat unit installed. Stay away. No one to contact for any services.
Update 8/2/2025 ********************************************************* THIS COMPANY FILED FOR CHAPTER 7 ON 7/29/25 😡😡😡 The court notified us today via email about the bankruptcy filing, and an automatic stay takes effect. The automatic stay acts as a legal shield that stops creditors from taking further collection action against this company. This means we cannot collect what the court ordered on 6/13/25 and most likely will not be able to receive any financial resolution to this sorry saga! We have to file another motion requesting that the Court lift the stay or wait until the Bankruptcy case closes when most likely the money they owe us will will be "discharged"! This is ridiculous! ************************************************* I gave them a ONE STAR RATING BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WAY RATE THEM LOWER!! 😡😡😡😡 We hired this company to install a new boiler in March 2024. This was a commercial building $30,800 installation. They demolish the old boiler and “installed” the new one. They don’t return phone calls, don’t keep their commitments and promises. I traveled to their office and met with the Owner. After our meeting he committed to resolving our issues. NOTHING changed or was resolved? I’ve never seen such slipshod and unprofessional behavior as this in all my years of dealing with vendors. Oh yeah for what it is worth the commercial boiler install in question is for a Church! ******** Update 7/10/2025 ****** In December 2024 I offered them a chance to pay the Church what the cost was to finish the install. Of course they ignored my calls, texts, and emails. Given this inaction on their part I filed a small claims case (Feb 2025) against them in Brockton District court. I asked for $5,000 to pay for someone else to complete the work that they failed to do. I was given a court date of 6/10/2025 and had to wait 4 months to deal with this matter. :( On 6/10/2025 one of their managers (Marc Styles) showed up with an attorney and claimed that they were not aware of my issues and that they had completed the install. He claimed that we did not understand the "scope" of our agreement and therefore our claim was not valid. ??? In Brockton District they prefer that you try to mediate these types of cases rather than go to trial. Seeing that I did not have an attorney present, I agreed to go mediation to see if we could finally resolve the issue. I spent about 3 hours with them and a mediator trying to come to a mutual resolution. They agreed to settle the claim and pay the Church $2,500.02. (This was half of what I was asking for) and I agreed to waive interest on the payment would have been calculated from the filing date Feb 2, 2025. The court issued an order to pay and they were supposed to pay in full by 6/13/2025. OF COURSE THEY DIDN'T PAY! I had to go back to the court and file a 'Motion to show cause' as to why they have ignored the court order and give an explanation to the court and to me why they have not paid as they agreed. Apparently this company not only does not honor agreements with its customers, it also does not honor agreement with the court. In my motion asked for the court to order them to pay my original amount of $5,000 and also enter a judgement for punitive damages for their continued dishonest and unprofessional business practices. They get another 14 days to respond to my complaint and I have to go back to court on August 7, 2025 to another hearing on this issue. I would also note that at no time since filing the claim, or the motion did anyone from this company reach out to me to explain, or communicate why they continue to behave in such an unethical unprofessional manner. :( I will update this post with what happens after this next court appearance. I gave them a ONE STAR RATING BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WAY RATE THEM LOWER!! 😡 *******************************************
Honestly, just really poor customer service. Took them five weeks from deposit payment to get me an install date. Was told installation would take a day, it took three. Coil is constantly freezing up, system is not working correctly. Repeated calls have gone to voicemail and are never returned, now more than a month after the problems were initially reported. The HVAC guys and electricians that came to my house seemed to be good, hard-working people, but the folks in the office are just not. Really wishing I had gone with someone else. I'd advise that you learn from my mistake.
