Castro Painting

Castro Painting is a Marlborough painting and carpentry company that owner Patrick Castro has run since 2009, working Marlborough and the towns around it. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license is active, per the state registry. Better Business Bureau gives the company an A+ grade (not accredited) and lists 17 years in business, matching the company's own count. Patrick himself shows up by name in many of the more than thirty Google reviews, described walking homeowners through the job, and several reviews single out the crew's attention to detail specifically. The work runs past painting — a recent review describes a custom bookcase with file drawers built for a home, and in a March 2026 review a commercial property owner described the crew's careful cleanup after a fire. Earlier reviews, dated 2023, describe an entire house painted in two days, a drywall repair paired with a paint job, and a house, three decks, fences and deck floors painted and stained in one job. Ask for a firm timeline and written scope before signing, especially on a bigger job — the reviews describe fast turnarounds, but it's worth pinning down up front. Patrick Castro is a strong call for anything from a single room to a full exterior repaint, and for the carpentry and repair work — a built-in bookcase, drywall repair, deck staining — alongside the painting jobs.
