Chris Salisbury's crew is who people in Rockingham County call when a tree is in the wrong place. Most of the written Google reviews describe trees coming down — dead oaks, an overgrown treeline, one homeowner's "sketchy oak" over the roof in an October 2025 review — and the Google page averages 4.8 from 16 ratings. CES Property Service works out of 430 N Main St in Salem, NH. The BBB lists it in business since 2000 under Christopher Salisbury; the company's own site says it was established in 1998 with 20-plus years behind it, and names Atkinson, Derry, Hampstead, Londonderry, Pelham, Plaistow, Salem, Sandown and Windham as its service area. The tree jobs repeat across the years. A June 2024 customer who had shopped around and collected several prices said CES came in best, then took down two trees and trimmed a large one back from over the house. A November 2023 homeowner had six trees removed, two of them with a crane and one near power lines. In April 2026 a customer had dead trees taken out and overgrown areas cleared, and wrote that everything was cleaned up before the crew left — a November 2024 reviewer said the same about leaves and sticks after a tree came down and an area was leveled. Price comes up in several of these reviews: "reasonably priced" in May 2026, "a very fair price" in September 2025, "the price was also very reasonable" in November 2024. One job ran the other way, and it is the thing to ask about. In November 2023 a customer wrote that it took two months and three phone calls to get pine logs off the property, that a dropped section of tree landed on his fieldstone fireplace, and that the repair he was promised never happened. For tree and stump removal and the yard work that follows it — grading, hardscape walkways, a new lawn — this is a straightforward Salem-area call, and the Houzz page adds drainage installation, retaining walls, septic install and repair, and bobcat and mini excavator hire. Before the trucks roll, pin down the timeline and the clean-up in writing, and ask directly how damage to anything on the property gets handled.
