A 2023 customer wrote that Chris had done multiple jobs at their home with a lot of last-minute changes and workarounds, and had been at the house mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends. A 2020 customer wrote that Chris said he would start their job at the end of June but did not complete it until the end of August, with no communication or updates about when he would start. That 2020 customer also said he charged almost $900 extra for modifications to the firepit without their consent, left construction debris behind, and did not respond to texts about issues with the firepit he built.
Chris does exceptional work, has done multiple jobs at our home with a lot of last minute changes and work arounds. Has been at our house mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends. Very, very pleased with what he’s accomplished. Highly recommend him for any job!

False promises. Stated he would start my job end of June. He took a big project in fitchburg which ended up taking about 2.5 months of the summer. No communication or updates as to when he would start or even come back. As soon as his funds were running low on that fitchburg project, he would intermittently stop by at my house to do "parts" of our project and expect to get paid for what he had done so far. He was coming and going. His tire popped in my yard and he decided to help a stranger load my logs on his trailer in my front yard when we told him not to help so he charged me for his TIME on popped tire and to help a stranger. When confronted, he made allegations that the stranger was blocking his way, when all Chris's work was being done in the backyard at that point any way and there was still plenty of space to get through if he needed too. We then discussed about the firepit and after his education we went with his recommendations. However, he blindsided me and charged me an extra almost 900$ for the modifications he made on the firepit without our consent or any discussions. Due to his financial stress and pressure to get the fitchburg job completed, he put that stress/pressure on our project. he rushed through our project and completed it quickly in the end while leaving construction debris and trash of bottles and towels. He didn't complete our job until end of august. Also, he promised he would do the veneer and cap on the pillars as a way to make it up without any charge and we haven't heard back from him. We also texted him about issues with the firepit he built and he has not responded back. On top of that, he knew we hired contractors to do our awning roof over the patio, but due to his VERY delayed completion of the job without any notice, I lost business with my contractors. We know about the fitchburg job because we knew those customers. plenty of emails and texts to back up this review.
