Charland Enterprises inc

Charland Enterprises, which its Better Business Bureau page says also does business as Charland Oil Company, describes itself there as a heating contractor that installs, repairs and services heating and air conditioning and sells oil fuel. A 2022 customer said the company installed two boilers at their house and was nice and professional the whole time. Its Rhode Island HVAC license, number 00008395, is active on the state registry in Shawn M Norton's name. On Google it shows 4.4 stars from 7 ratings, and BuildZoom shows 39 projects. A 2022 reviewer wrote that the company had been servicing their home for several years, said the work was done in a timely manner, and called the prices very fair. A 2024 customer said they called about smoke billowing out of the burner flue and were promised a visit by the beginning of the following week. When the next Wednesday came, that 2024 customer wrote, the company said it would "shoot for the end of the week" — and three weeks later there was still no hot water and still no word from the company.
