Chimney Care Professionals, Inc. is a chimney company whose website lists cleaning, relining, caps, waterproofing and woodstoves among its work; the company says it has been in business 48 years. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, number HIC.0610458, is active on the state registry. A 2025 customer with a leaking chimney said they troubleshot the problem, took pictures throughout the process, and resolved it by installing a custom chimney cap and sealing the chimney crown. In that 2025 review, the customer said a flue inspection showed the flue was in rough shape, and they helped install a new flue liner connected to the exhausts from the hot water heater and natural gas furnace. A 2026 customer said they came out right away for a chimney emergency, stayed well beyond business hours and cleaned the chimney. A 2026 reviewer who named Jerry and Seth said they came out again to reline the oil flue, and that they had been doing work at the house since 1997. In a 2022 review, first-time homebuyers said Jerry saw what their home inspector missed: a crumbling oil flue, which they had replaced at a price they called very reasonable. A 2025 customer said Seth cleaned the fireplace and chimney and installed fireplace doors. A 2024 customer gave one star, saying the agreed price was 500 and the charge was 750, and that they remarked "I thought you were a man on the phone."

Great guys! Super knowledgeable. Honest work for honest price.
We had an emergency situation with our chimney today and they came out right away. They stayed well beyond business hours making sure everything was safe and properly taken care of. From start to finish they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. They not only cleaned our chimney thoroughly, but also took the time to explain what they were doing, gave us helpful safety tips, and offered advice in other areas to make sure our home was safe. This level of care and integrity is rare. They went above and beyond in every way; Such honest, trustworthy, and genuinely good people. We are so grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone.
