Chris Sheppard Plumbing & Heating is a Seymour, Connecticut plumbing business run under Chris Sheppard's name; HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 4.9 stars from 199 ratings, and Google shows 4.7 from 11. In an August 2026 Google review, a customer says Chris came out several hours after the call and fixed a leaking bathroom faucet and a dripping shower valve with inconsistent temperature and pressure. The same reviewer says that on an earlier call, Chris found that only the outside faucet's supply pipe was leaking, dripping onto a baseboard heat pipe below, when calling both leaks would have meant draining the boiler at a cost of over $500. An April 2025 Angi customer says Chris called within 10 minutes of a Monday-night request and replaced an outdoor faucet the next morning in less than 45 minutes. In a March 2023 review, Chris installed three new valves and a new toilet and found a cracked flange suspected of causing a leak through the ceiling. A January 2023 reviewer says a shower valve job took a second visit after a stuck handle had to be cut off. In an April 2025 Google review, a longtime customer says a $334 bill for replacing an outside faucet was higher than expected, and that when they asked about it, Chris told them never to call again. Its Connecticut P1 plumbing contractor licence, PLM.0283570-P1, is active, held under Christopher A Sheppard. The Better Business Bureau grades the business A+.
08/17/26 Who do we call and who do we rely on for all our plumbing needs? It’s Chris Shepard!👍👍 It seems that when we call him, it’s never a routine issue; it’s always something that needs to be done now because of a leak or something else. Chris is always there to respond to the issues in a timely fashion. Today we had a leaking faucet in the bathroom sink and a shower valve that would not stop dripping along with inconsistent water temperature/pressure. We called Chris and he came out several hours later and resolved both issues. I enjoy talking to Chris because he explains what needs to do to complete the job. The work itself was excellent. He completed the job efficiently, kept the workspace clean, and double‑checked everything before leaving to make sure the repair would hold long‑term. It’s rare to find someone in home services who is both highly skilled and genuinely ethical, but he delivered on both fronts. We highly recommend Chris Shepherd for all your Plumbing needs. Called Chris regarding what I thought were two separate pipe leaks. One pipe was the water supply for an outside faucet and the other was a pipe for the hot water baseboard heat. Chris is an honest and ethical person; after wire brushing both pipes he informed me that the top pipe (faucet water supply) was dripping on the other pipe. He could have very easily said that both pipes were leaking that would have cost well over $500.00 because the boiler would have to be drained and refilled. I will definitely call Chris back if I need a plumber and I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs.
