Clairvil X Construction and Services

A homeowner who had their kitchen redone in April 2026 described the sequence that matters most in a remodel: layout ideas first, then the cabinets went in, and the job stayed organized from start to finish. That is the work Clairvil X Construction and Services takes on — a Randolph general contractor doing kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements, room additions and exterior renovation, with handyman jobs alongside. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active on the state registry, and the state's Supplier Diversity Office certifies the company as a Minority Business Enterprise, a certification that runs to 2029. Marc Clairvil is listed as the owner on its BuildZoom profile, which also lists a construction supervisor licence, #CS-122071. The company says it is EPA Lead-Safe Certified and that it began as a family shop. On Google, three 2026 reviewers average 4.3★. In May 2026 a customer said Marc quoted quickly at a reasonable price and kept working through a storm and a power outage. A June 2026 reviewer, giving three stars, wrote that he was honest and patient about what to expect during a home renovation. Its Angi page lists drywall, painting, tile and flooring alongside the remodeling, plus free estimates and Spanish spoken, and shows four recent projects — among them a 2025 basement remodel in the $25,000 to $40,000 range. The towns it says it serves are Randolph, Newton, Brookline and Wellesley. One thing to pin down before you sign: the company's own website tells two stories about its age, claiming '28+ Years in Business' and 'nearly three decades' on its About page while the home page says '15+ Years of Mastery'. Ask how long it has operated under this name, and who will be on your job day to day. This suits a homeowner who wants one contractor coordinating a whole room — a kitchen, a bath, a basement build-out — rather than a single trade. Ask for the construction supervisor licence and a certificate of insurance, and get the scope, the price and the schedule in writing before the work starts.
