Clara Cleaning

Clara Cleaning is a small residential cleaning operation based in Somerville, Massachusetts, the kind of outfit homeowners call for a standard tidy-up, a deep clean before movers arrive, or a turnover after a vacation rental. The company's Thumbtack profile says it has run for 14 years with two employees, taking on standard, deep, move-out and vacation-rental cleaning along with add-ons like interior window washing, fridge and oven detailing, and laundry. The written record is thin — a single Thumbtack review from February 2024 — but it's a clear thumbs-up: the customer called the cleaner responsible and trustworthy and said simply, "I loved her job." There isn't yet a broader trail of feedback to confirm how that holds up across more jobs. Before booking, it's worth asking directly about scheduling and pricing, since with only one review on record there's little outside confirmation of turnaround time or consistency. For homeowners who want a straightforward residential clean and are comfortable being an early reference, Clara Cleaning is worth a call; for a longer track record, it's fair to ask for a few.
