Classen's Tree Service holds a 5-star Google average across 51 ratings, and the work people hire it for is taking down big trees in awkward places. A recent customer said Cory got back quickly, came out to inspect the trees and scheduled the job only a couple weeks out. When they arrived there was a large team with a crane, bucket truck, flatbed and 2 chipper trucks, and that customer said they finished 5 large, awkwardly located trees in about 3 hours at a rate that beat the next lowest quote by a significant margin. A recent reviewer asked about taking down about 10 trees, said Corey responded the same day and came on site the next afternoon, and said the lawn and driveway were cleaned up afterward. Over 10 tall pines in tight spaces within house and garage came out for a recent customer. A recent customer who worried that healthy mature trees would be damaged when two dead ash trees came down said everything looks great. In a 2024 review, a customer said that after a wind storm the crew cut away hanging material, took down standing snags and split or leaning trees, and that the insurance company paid for everything. That 2024 customer slid off a ladder as the crew was leaving and broke both feet; the crew did an initial first aid assessment and helped the customer's wife load them into the car for the ER. A 2024 customer said a very large dead tree near the house and power lines was taken down with crane equipment. A 2025 customer said Classens ground 5 white pine stumps down on a bank. In a 2025 review, a customer said Classen's took down trees hanging over the roof at a reasonable price, but that they drove over a septic tank that had been marked off, cracked about a half dozen rocks in the front walkway and tore up a small garden. That 2025 customer raised the review from 2 to 4 stars after speaking with Corey and said he takes accountability for his employees' mistakes.
Had them take some trees down today, and we were nervous because close to my neighbors fence and motor home. They were first rate. I completely recommend this company and will definitely use them again.
I have had tree removal before but this was impressive. The crew showed up first thing in the morning with heavy equipment and they were in and out in no time leaving the site all cleared from brush or debris. I will use them again in the future and I would highly recommend them.
Crew was respectful of property. Two dead ash trees were among other healthy mature trees. I was concerned the good trees would be damaged, but everything looks great! GREAT JOB!
I called several tree removal companies to get quotes for removal of several large trees. Most were either very expensive or were scheduling months out. Cory got back to me quickly, came out to inspect the trees, and was able to get me scheduled for only a couple weeks out. The quote was more than reasonable. When they arrived, there was a large team, and plenty of equipment, including a crane, bucket truck, flatbed and 2 chipper trucks. They made quick work of 5 large, awkwardly located trees and were finished in about 3 hours. Considering the amount of equipment, number of workers, and the trees themselves, the rate was more than fair. They beat the next lowest quote by a significant margin, yet did not skimp on quality or service. If I need more trees removed, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again, and neither should you!
True professionals. I inquired about getting about 10 trees taken down. Corey responded the same day and came on site the next afternoon. They scheduled me as quickly as they could. Price was incredible for the amount of work they did in 4 hours. The team was amazing to watch. Everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to be doing, they all helped each other and their communication was on point. They also cleaned up my lawn and driveway and left it as they found it. I would highly recommend Classen's Tree Service.
