Evergreen Acres Landscape and Construction says it rebuilds gravel and dirt driveways "from the base up," graded and drained to hold through frost and spring runoff. Its site lists a service area of Campton, Thornton, Waterville Valley, Lincoln, Woodstock, Plymouth, Holderness, Rumney and Ashland. On Google it holds 4.6 stars from 19 ratings. A 2026 customer said the company dug down the old material on their driveway, laid a thick layer of new material that was graded and compacted, and added crushed granite to the ditches for drainage. A 2026 customer with 900 feet of gravel driveway said Jeff Sr. and Jeff Jr. added fill, re-graded it to a level surface and added a reclaimed asphalt topping, with the project done within one week from scheduling to completion. In a 2025 review, a customer said their gas company hired Evergreen to excavate and remove an underground propane tank; that customer said a one-day job turned into a 3-day job, that Jeff and his son stayed patient, and that they left the property freshly loamed. A 2025 customer from a homeowners association said Jeff went around its 10 acres and 3 roads spot by spot for a walk-through of the plowing layout. A 2024 customer said they ordered a full cord of firewood from Jeff and it was delivered in time. A 2026 reviewer said they were called "fake" by text and told he is "busy and we work," and wrote that the company apparently isn't taking new clients. In a 2022 review, a customer said the price kept changing, that they were still redoing a lot of the work, and that bushes put in were dead two months later.
The guys from Evergreen Acres did an awesome job on our driveway. We had lots of drainage and other issues with it previously and wanted reclaimed asphalt to be put down. They stopped by and gave us great recommendations for our main driveway and a smaller camper driveway. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about their craft. Rather than just overtopping the old material, they actually dug it down and laid a thick layer of new material that was graded and compacted. We also had them add some crushed granite to the ditches for better drainage. Once the rain washes off the dirty stone, it will look amazing next to our new driveway. Would highly recommend them for your landscaping and driveway needs at reasonable prices, especially with the cost of everything right now. I'd hire them again, but they did such a good job, it probably won't need to be redone for a long time.
Super rude via text, told me I am "fake"? Not sure what that meant and that he's "busy and we work" ...again, zero help. Apparently this company isn't taking new clients at the moment.
I have 900 feet of gravel driveway. My driveway was in rough shape after 20 New Hampshire winters. I hired Jeff Sr and Jeff Jr to add gravel fill and asphalt topping to the entire length of my driveway. They showed up with the appropriate equipment within 3 days and started working. They added the necessary fill, then re-graded the driveway to a level surface. Then they added the reclaimed asphalt topping and leveled that. The entire project was done within one week from scheduling to completion. If you need driveway work I highly recommend Jeff Sr. and Jeff Jr. of Evergreen Acres. My driveway looks better today than when it was first laid 2 decades ago. I am very happy with the result.
After we lost our longtime plow guy, r contacted Jeff and his son to do the plowing at our shared land for our homeowners association. It's not an easy place to plow with lots of angles and parking spots. Jeff was great and took the time to go around the 10 acres and 3 roads, spot by spot for a walk through on the plowing layout. They're the first to plow the place correctly after losing our previous plow guy. Needless to say we're keeping their services and hope to for years to come. Five stars for sure!
Evergreen was hired by my gas company to excavate my property to remove an underground propane tank to replace it. They contacted me ahead of time to let me know when they were coming and arrived on time. Jeff and his son were both personable and respectful of my property and my time. When the gas company seemed to be disorganized, Evergreen remained patient and worked around the scheduling issues. They were extremely patient with all the setbacks. A one-day job turned into a 3-day job tying up their equipment, but they remained patient, and handled themselves professionally. They left my property freshly loamed and even did a small handyman project for me before leaving. Jeff and his son were hard workers and kept me updated always. I would highly recommend them.
