Highlights
- Same crew — reviewers name the same cleaners across years
- Long tenure — several customers report a decade of service
CleanLocal is a Middleton-based residential and commercial cleaner founded in 2010 by Cristina Andrade Gomes — the company describes itself as family-owned and says it's now 16 years in business — offering recurring cleans, deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans and office cleaning across the North Shore, Merrimack Valley and Greater Boston. The written record is unusually deep for a cleaning company — 35 reviews from 2022 through 2026 across Google and Thumbtack, the large majority from the last six months. The same names keep showing up across years: reviewers repeatedly credit specific cleaners like Rosa, Rosita and Patricia by name, and a 2026 Thumbtack review described being perhaps the company's first customer back in 2010, watching the business grow over 15-plus years. Several reviews describe a decade or more of regular service, including one from 2026 describing more than ten years working with Cristina's team, and multiple reviews mention the crew being good with pets and comfortable for an elderly parent living alone. Worth checking directly: Thumbtack currently lists the pro as not available for new work, and one recent review noted that schedule changes need to be given with reasonable advance notice. The company's own 16-year tenure claim also runs a couple of years ahead of Thumbtack's listed 14 years — a minor discrepancy, not a red flag. They read as a well-established pick for ongoing biweekly or weekly home cleaning, including elderly-care and pet-friendly households — just confirm current availability before counting on them.
