Clearview Building & Remodeling Inc.

Clearview shows up on time. They do what they say they are going to do. They are open to creative collaboration. They step up to solve problems. Most importantly their craftsmanship is top notch and they stand by their work. Richard is present from beginning to end. He remembers your name because you are more than a client. Home renovation or new construction is a stressful endeavor, but Richard's professionalism and over all demeanor makes it a more positive experience. If more than 5 stars was an option, I would click on the highest amount of stars.

Richard Perry and his team at Clearview completely renovated our 1860s home in Harpswell. It was completely updated while maintaining its original beauty. He did everything from stem to stern starting with shingling and onto new kitchen, bathrooms and more. We now have turned a wreck of a house that suffered from years of neglect into a luxurious home! He managed technical subcontractors seamlessly. Some of these included electric, plumbing, roofing, basement water remediation, exquisite exterior granite hardscaping and more. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Richard, his team and his family. It’s now 6 years and still is perfect. If you are interested in seeing his work, please contact him and we would be glad to host a walk through with Richard. .

Richard Perry and his crew at Clearview built us a two bedroom cottage in Harpswell. We are delighted with the home. The project came in on budget and within a reasonable time. Most importantly, the materials, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are terrific. Richard himself is straightforward, honest, and trustworthy. This was a major project for us - from site work, to septic, to full build out of a year-round home and garage. We would strongly recommend Richard / Clearview without reservation.

Richard and his crew do amazing work! They built a garage and a mud room for me, and it was a super smooth project from start to finish. Richard helped with the initial planning and with incorporating specific things I wanted (like a doggie shower) into the plan. The team does high quality work, and Richard had great suggestions along the way when it came to both build and design choices. He is very responsive and the communication was great through the whole project. I get lots of comments on how well the addition flows with the house (which is older) and style. I can’t recommend Richard and team enough!
