Coastal Road Repair

They are completely inept when it comes to traffic control. The worst I have ever seen. Yesterday on Forrest Ave they held up traffic on Morrils Corner entering from Bishops st for over 15 minutes and just let traffic flow through Forrest Ave. A police officer that was held up in the miles long back up had to go over and tell them to give our direction a turn. This project is costing taxpayers 1 million dollars and has caused headaches for them with this companies complete idiocy. Throughout this project they decide to close lanes during massive events in the area, not block off areas where they are working, no signage indicating lane closures, halting one direction of traffic for insane lengths of time to let absolutely 0 cars come the other way when there is 4 lanes to work with near the jetport. Get your act together and fire who is in charge of this total horror show.

No notice of blocking a dead end street telling the people living on the dead end they can’t go to there homes and paving at the peak of traffic time, poor management on this portland project and paving guys need to do there job and let the foreman running the job make the call if people who live on that road can pass. i will and all of my neighborhood will be writing the city about the lack of planning and poor infrastructure of this very small job. we will also bring up all of are concerns at the town meeting.
