Customers have reached Dave Coelho at odd hours. A family facing a burst pipe and a broken heating system on Christmas Eve 2024 said he came out that day and fixed both. In a May 2025 review, a customer whose hot water tank burst across the basement late on a Sunday night said Dave answered and sent a plumber right away, and an April 2025 customer said he talked them through a temporary fix over the phone after hours and finished the repair first thing the next morning. In April 2026, a customer renovating a bathroom said Dave got Josh there within an hour, twice. Coelho's Plumbing & Heating is a New Bedford plumbing and heating company that says it has served the city since 2006, with residential plumbing, heating, water heater and boiler work and 24/7 emergency service. David Coelho's Massachusetts plumber licence is active on the state registry. Google shows 4.8★ from 76 ratings. The bigger jobs include a new boiler, water heater and oil tank installed in March 2026, a main sewer pipe replaced in March 2025 after backups roughly every six months, and a six-family fire restoration in April 2024. In a May 2024 review, a customer told elsewhere that their water heater needed replacing said Coelho's fixed the flue and installed a carbon monoxide detector instead. Follow-through has gone wrong for some customers. In a November 2025 review, a customer said the company started a job six months earlier and never came back to finish it, despite calls and messages. An April 2025 landlord said Dave twice failed to show or reply after scheduling, and a February 2024 reviewer described a project held up for weeks, unanswered calls, and a bathroom drain leak left behind.
