Coleman Fence Construction is a family-run fence installer in Haverhill. Cameron Coleman is the name on the background check Thumbtack completed in October 2023, and the listings put the business at eight years old. Two customers have written about the work, both in 2023, and both hired the company for the same reason: dogs. In October 2023 a homeowner paid $4,000 for a metal and vinyl fence with a gate to keep dogs in the yard, called the quality good and the price reasonable, and noted the crew cleaned up after itself. That July, another customer wrote that the company came out, explained the process, and took their disability and their need to contain their dogs seriously. The listings across Angi, HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack agree with each other: aluminum, chain link, vinyl and wood fencing, gates and dog fences, plus repair and maintenance. Free estimates, hours from 7am to 9pm seven days a week, payment by cash, check, Zelle or card, and referral discounts. The profiles state that no warranty is offered. Massachusetts exempts fencing-only contractors from home improvement contractor registration, so nothing turns on licensing here in either direction. For a straightforward yard fence or a dog enclosure around Haverhill, this is a small crew with two satisfied customers on record, both from 2023. Ask for a few recent local addresses you can drive past, get post depth and gate hardware written into the quote, and ask what the company does if a post heaves after a winter.
