- Quick fence repair — July 2026 customer reported completion two hours after texting
- Fair repair quote — July 2026 customer called the quote more than fair
A July 2026 Google reviewer described a tree limb breaking four pickets in a PVC fence: Ben responded immediately to a text, came straight from his previous job, and completed the repair two hours after the customer's first message. The customer also called the quote more than fair. Ben's Fence Repair describes itself as a solo, owner-operated fence-repair business in the Arlington area. Its website says the owner started the business to preserve repairable fences rather than push unnecessary replacements, and reports six years in business. It lists repairs for wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, gate and pool fences, with a service area covering Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Lexington, Medford, Somerville and Winchester. In a March 2026 Thumbtack review, a customer said a fence was repaired properly and that they chose a longer-term solution the worker offered. Another Thumbtack reviewer that month described an immediate response and a same-day job.
