Rydica Home Solutions is a Newton, MA outfit built around one name that shows up in nearly every review: Brian. The company holds an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, verified against the state registry, and its work centers on doors and windows - Andersen, ProVia, and Renewal by Andersen installs come up repeatedly - alongside fencing, carpentry, small roofing repairs, decking, and general handyman jobs. The volume here is substantial: 53 reviews since 2020, the vast majority five stars on Google, and the specifics repeat a consistent pattern. In a 2020 review, one customer said other companies quoted a full fence replacement at eight times the cost before Brian repaired it instead, replacing worn posts and pouring a new foundation. In a 2025 review, a customer described a misaligned front and back door fixed with a self-described 'measure twice, cut once' approach rather than being swapped out, and a separate 2025 review described a shattered patio-door glass replaced within a week after being reached on a holiday. Repeat business shows up often: a 2025 review said one family had used him for four jobs, a 2024 review called him 'a valuable and reliable resource' after several years of window, gutter, and door work, and another 2025 review described a salon owner using him for multiple jobs at her business. The most recent reviews carry the same detail. One described a tricky entry-door-and-window-sill job that needed extra carpentry work, finished within the estimated timeframe at a reasonable price; another described a January 2026 job installing 23 replacement windows solo in an 1874 house without compromising the home's character. None of the last ten reviews, spanning the past six months, are negative. Two older complaints are worth knowing about. A 2022 HomeAdvisor review said a railing job 'failed' and that calls afterward went unreturned. A 2020 Angi review described feeling overcharged, though the reviewer added they'd hire him again but would ask more questions about pricing upfront next time. Both predate the bulk of the current review volume by several years, and HomeAdvisor and Angi's own aggregate scores (4.2 from 9 ratings each) sit noticeably below the 5.0 Google average drawn from a much larger pool. Before booking, it's worth getting a clear, itemized price before work starts, given the one pricing complaint on record. For door, window, fencing, or general carpentry work, the license is verified active and the volume and consistency of recent, detailed reviews make this a strong candidate.
Fantastic job with replacing our old, drafty door. Our new door looks fantastic- we would absolutely recommend and use again!
Brian saved the day! My Anderson patio door was sticking and jamming in the middle, making it a constant struggle to open and close. I called Brian and we set a time — he arrived promptly. He walked me through his assessment as he worked, clearly explaining each step and what he planned to do next. His communication put me at ease, and his skill and expertise fixed the problem quickly and effectively. Brian is a true professional who does quality work and genuinely cares about the job. I highly recommend Brian and Rydica Home Solutions to anyone needing reliable, skilled service. You will never be disappointed working with Brian.
Andersen windows were awesome. Brian came in and went straight to work, he made me feel comfortable professionally. He wasn't in the way and did his work, and my sliding windows look amazing, he did an amazing job installing them and it looks super clear when I look out the window. He cleaned up and didn't leave any messes which I appreciate. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you so much :)
I had an amazing experience with Brian. Very efficient and accurate. I couldn’t be happier.
I had a door replacement for my rental property. They were able to coordinate with the condo association and the tenant for the work which is above and beyond. The tenant had very positive feedback and the quality was amazing. I will be using them again.
