A roofing leak that ruined two ceilings. A wall torn open by an HVAC install. Water that got behind the siding and into the plywood underneath. In reviews written between 2022 and 2025, homeowners keep describing Color Matters Painting the same way — as the Marlborough crew that repaired the damage first and painted after. The company's own site calls it locally owned and operated, 14 years in business, doing interior and exterior painting, deck cleaning and cabinet and door refinishing behind a three-year workmanship warranty. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade. Every platform score is the same number: 5.0 across Google's 26 ratings, and 5.0 again on Houzz and on HomeAdvisor. What holds that up is how often people come back. Five reviewers between 2023 and 2025 mention a second or third job — a whole-house exterior after two earlier ones, a deck stained, a pair of large interior and exterior jobs over the years. Ten accounts from 2022 through 2025 name Wilian (spelled Willian in some of them), planning the work and then running it with the crew; Vander Bernardes appears beside him in three 2022 reviews. In a 2025 review, Hefer and Bruno laid protective tarps in both rooms before repainting ceilings a roofing leak had damaged. A 2024 exterior job meant replacing damaged shingles, priming, then painting the house, the trim and some accent color, with the homeowners consulted along the way. The history runs back further than that: a 2017 reviewer had the entire inside of an almost 2,700-square-foot Bedford condo painted to get it ready to sell. One thing to know before you look them up: the company's website is compromised. Its services page has been taken over by an Indonesian online-gambling site, and the home page carries injected multilingual casino spam mixed in with the genuine copy. For a house repaint around Marlborough — especially the kind where something has to be fixed before the paint goes on — this is the crew those homeowners hired, several of them more than once. Reach them by phone or through their Google or BBB listing rather than the website, and get the three-year warranty written into the estimate.
Rodrigo did a fantastic job! We had several rooms that needed walls repaired and painted. He’s so easy to work with, we were quickly scheduled, and the work was excellent.
Great paint job! Looks terrific. Color Matters is thorough, prompt, and easy to communicate with. I couldn’t be more pleased !
I've worked with Color Matters Painting twice now, and both experiences have been exceptional. I first hired Wilian to repair some interior ceiling damage, and he came back multiple times, without hesitation, until the job was truly perfect. His professionalism stood out immediately: he showed up in person for the quote, walked me through the plan slowly and clearly, and followed up with genuine care. Because of that positive experience, I asked him to help with some exterior rot repair and painting. I had shopped around and kept seeing the same feedback from others: that his work is high quality and that he never cuts corners, and that's exactly what I experienced. The craftsmanship was excellent, and the communication was consistently thoughtful and respectful. I highly recommend Wilian and Color Matters Painting to anyone looking for a dependable, skilled, and truly professional painter. I'll absolutely be working with him again
Color Matters just completed painting my house. Wow! It looks beautiful! They are a professional operation. They keep to their promised timeline and they payed attention to the details. Wilian offered suggestions and ideas- that enhanced the look of the house. I highly recommend Color Matters.
Great service and very competitive pricing! Always responded to questions in a timely manner and showed up on the days scheduled. We had power washing and mildew treatment done on natural wood.
