Connecticut Garage Doors & Floors, based in Waterbury, repairs and installs garage doors, springs and openers, and its reviewers also describe epoxy garage floor work. The Better Business Bureau gives the company an F grade and lists complaints against it. In an April 2025 Google review, a customer in Westport said Ray replaced their garage springs the same day at a good price. A June 2025 Google customer who had spent hours on the phone with the manufacturer of a very old opener said Luigi and Jerry solved the problem within an hour. In a May 2025 Google review, a New Britain customer said Carlos gave them a quote and did not try to upsell anything they did not need. A 2024 Google customer said Wesley came out the same day they called, inspected each garage door and replaced the lightbulbs free of charge. Google reviewers from August and September 2025 said the company took their money for doors, panels or epoxy work and then never did the job or returned it. A Woodbury customer wrote in September 2025 that their epoxy garage floor was laid in freezing January weather and came out covered in bubbles, and that the promised redo never happened. In a July 2026 HomeAdvisor review, a customer said the garage door opener they paid $700 for fell off the ceiling a week after installation and no one from the office called back. A December 2025 Google reviewer said the company did not stand by a repair when the door began malfunctioning and did not return calls. In an August 2025 Google review, a customer said Rey confirmed their new door was defective and installed it anyway until a new one came, and that they were still waiting on the replacement door after emails and texts.
Has called this company to replace garage door opener unit. Worker has a NJ license plate. Had paid $700.00 for unit. Garage door opener did not properly secured the unit to the celling. A week later the whole unit fell off the celling, called the Connecticut Garage Door Service, LLC company 8 days later. Spoke to a female explained to her that the unit completely fell of the ceiling , asked her to have tech / installer come back to fix it. That female on the phone stated that she had to see if that warranty was good. I told her the unit was installed last week. I asked her what do you mean it may not be still under warranty. She stated that someone from the office will call back, never called back, never heard from this company, terrible experience, horrible customer service. Terrible con artists, one of the worst business ever dealt with. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL OFFICE, never got money back or call from this company. Once they get your money they dont deal with you.
Horrible, horrendous, and dishonest company. Do not live up to their guarantee on workmanship. Don’t return calls. Don’t stand by their work. Needed a repair they made rechecked as garage door began malfunctioning after they made repairs… ghosted me for past 6 months. GO WITH ANYONE ELSE. Only guarantee they can give is to never return your call if there are any issues.
Been 3 months no door yet they took my money
If I could give this company ZERO stars, I would. They are beyond unprofessional—borderline scammers—and I would strongly warn anyone from ever hiring them. I hired them last fall to epoxy my two-car garage, and it was a disaster from start to finish. It took them two months just to show up. When they finally did—in the middle of January—they insisted on doing the job in freezing weather, even after I questioned if it was too cold. The result? An absolute nightmare. My garage floor is covered in bubbles, and when their own tech came back to inspect, he peeled up a chunk of epoxy with his bare hands—leaving my concrete exposed and water seeping underneath. He agreed it needed to be redone and that it was not the only one- they had already redone 3 from that season. I guess I was late to the party and they weren't going to honor their commitment to me. The salesman, Jay, promised me a “lifetime warranty” (what a joke). So their tech told me the entire garage needed to be redone. That was months ago. Since then, I’ve been strung along with excuse after excuse. First, they claimed they “received the wrong product” and I had to wait for the correct one. That was three months ago. I’ve called, emailed, and left countless messages. No one responds. I even called once from a blocked number—suddenly, the secretary picked up, acted shocked it was me, and promised a call back from the owner. Of course, I never heard from them again. At this point, I’ve had no choice but to go the legal route. A complete waste of time, energy, and money—all because this company refuses to stand by their word. They had every chance to make it right, and instead chose to ignore, lie, and steal. Disgusting company. Horrible experience. Stay far, far away. I live in Woodbury!
Do not go with this company!! They mentioned that they were able to replace my top panel of my garage door. They took my $200 deposit and I haven’t seen them since. I kept calling them and they gave me the runaround. I request my $200 deposit back and now they will not answer the phone or call me back. They will work their charm on you, but they will not do the work. Go with a more reparable company. Do not and I repeat do not go with this company!! They will take your money and run!!!!!! I couldn’t leave a review without giving a star. This company does not even deserve one star!!!!
