On Angi, Connecticut Wildlife Control describes itself as a family operation and says Sean Stevens grew up on a small farm in Connecticut and has worked with animals and wildlife his entire life. A recent Google customer had a couple of skunks under a shed, and both were caught within 48 hours. A customer who reached Sean at 10pm on a Thursday says he came out the next day to set 3 traps for a skunk, which was caught 3 days later. A customer with something living in the chimney says Sean got rid of a soot-covered squirrel in a humane fashion and found a more appropriate home for it. A customer whose bats had reached the living space says Sean came to take a look within 24 hours and provided an estimate the next day. A customer who needed exclusion work before selling the home called Sean attentive, informative and efficient. A 2019 customer with bats in the attic said Sean came out to assess the job the day they called, fit the work in on a Sunday morning, and charged a fee considerably lower than another quote. A 2020 customer said squirrels in a cottage attic crawl space were humanely trapped and the holes covered up. A 2020 customer said Sean arrived in about 2 hours, suggested a trap by the entrance, and later helped block that entrance after a raccoon was caught and let out in the woods behind the home. A 2021 Angi customer said that after Eversource wrapped electrical wires as Sean recommended, they were still waiting on a service date from July into September, and each time Sean said "next week."
Great experience! We had a couple of skunks under our shed and both were caught within 48 hours!
After a recent chimney cleaning I discovered I had a bat in my home. In a panic I left messages with three services who advertised 24/7 availability and only Wildlife Control Services responded. Sean patiently asked me to describe the situation ( the bat had been flying around the home but was now hidden), explained the habits of bats, gave me some tips for locating it and offered to come over to assist with removal that afternoon. He told me that to be safe I should not attempt to capture the bat on my own. Fortunately based on Sean’s helpful and knowledgeable advice neighbors were able to assist in releasing the bat. Thank you Sean!!
Quick response, professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Sean not only was able to remove the animal quickly but also spent the time to educate , inform and share information on how common this is but how to prevent it and checked for potential entry ways. I highly recommend.
I contacted Sean in a panic because we had bats that had managed to gain access to the living space of my house. He came to my house to take a look within 24 hours. He even spoke about bats to my sons one of whom has autism and was very frightened. He provided an estimate the next day and was very responsive to our concerns.
We were at a loss on how to deal with what was suddenly living in our chimney. Sean was recommended to us as he is a specialist. He was professional, courteous, prompt and most of all he knew exactly what was living in our chimney and how to deal with it. He got rid of our soot covered squirrel in no time in a very humane fashion and found a more appropriate home for it.
