Don’t know where he operates out of or which legal entity he uses - I’ve seen Byron Construction, Geddes Construction and 3 different addresses in Cumberland. He came out to my property to give me a construction estimate to build a new house. I had plans, elevations, and a site plan drawn up. Waited 3 months for him to send me a construction estimate! He kept saying he was “waiting on pricing from subs”. Finally sent a one page estimate sheet with many of the subcontractors trades not priced, but he filled in a total of $1.2 million at the bottom!! About $500k of the trades work was accounted for. It’s completely bogus and unusable. This estimate was only a rough outline, and incomplete, but it said that anything “not listed would be an additional cost”. 🙄 Sure, why don’t I just write you a blank check?! Also, after this, my fiancé has started getting spam calls from developers looking to buy the property. The calls are coming from from multiple 401 phone numbers. My fiance doesn’t own the property and we have not given his phone number to anyone else in relation to this property and he has never lived there. I think Geddes’ business practices are quite questionable.
