Copel Electric is a Rockland-based electrician working across Massachusetts, offering panel upgrades, generator installs, EV chargers, and new-construction wiring, with same-day and emergency service. Its own website is inconsistent about how long it's been around — one page says "Licensed Electricians in Massachusetts Since 2022," another calls it "Forty Years Wiring Excellence" — so any tenure claim from the company itself is worth confirming directly. The sixteen Google reviews on file, all from 2025, describe a range of real jobs. In a September 2025 review, a caller described needing live knob-and-tube wiring pulled from a church attic before a MassSave insulation crew could finish its work — Copel sent a foreman out right away, then returned with three electricians to bring the wiring up to code so the insulation job could proceed. Other reviews describe an emergency main-power-line repair handled quickly and safely, a heated pool wired from scratch including equipment connections and safety features, a kitchen renovation that included a full panel swap plus new outlets, switches, and lighting, and a service upgrade from 100 to 200 amps. One pattern worth flagging: nine of the sixteen reviews are dated the same day, June 18, 2025, and use noticeably similar phrasing ("professional, knowledgeable," "up to code," "highly recommend"). That alone isn't evidence of anything wrong — a company that asks a batch of recent customers to leave reviews around the same time would look exactly like this — but it does mean the apparent review volume reflects a single push rather than steady feedback spread over time. For a straightforward panel upgrade, emergency repair, or renovation-related electrical work, the jobs described here read as competent and code-focused; it's worth confirming current licensing directly given the conflicting tenure claims on the company's own site.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Copel Electric Inc. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.

Copeland replaced some baseboard heaters and a ceiling light fixture. Great work, fast, cleaned up after the job. Recommended.
I needed some live knob and tube wiring removed from our church attic so MassSave could install insulation. The insulation contractor showed up and said he couldn't cover the live antiquated wiring. I called Copel Electric and a foreman came right over and gave me an estimate. He returned with three electricians and quickly brought the wiring up to code and the large insulation job was able to be completed. Very professional and understanding of our problem, which they corrected very quickly!
They did a wonderful job from start to finish. The project was completed on time and on budget, and the quality of workmanship is outstanding". would highly recommend
