CORE Remodeling Services is a Worcester design-build firm that's built an unusually deep, unusually consistent written record: 34 reviews on file, every one five stars, running from 2021 through mid-2026 and covering kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, decks and whole-house structural work. Founded in 2012 (per its own site) and led by owner Corey, the company holds an active Massachusetts home-improvement-contractor registration and an A+, accredited rating from the Better Business Bureau, which lists 14 years in business and no complaints on file. The reviews read like a company that keeps the same core team on every job — project manager Dane, office manager Alaina, and carpenters Bill, Brett and Marcus are named across dozens of separate projects spanning years, which is itself unusual for a remodeling shop this size. Customers describe CORE tackling real structural work: removing load-bearing walls and installing steel beams for open-concept kitchens, restoring a 100-plus-year-old bathroom around its original clawfoot tub, building a fully wheelchair-accessible bathroom ahead of schedule for a family that needed it, and repairing a water-damaged ceiling down to the original plaster and lathe. What stands out beyond the craftsmanship is how CORE handles it when something does go wrong. One customer's newly renovated bathroom developed a leak; CORE fixed the damage under warranty and, in the customer's words, "really do stand behind their work." Another described a vanity that started collecting water two years after the job — Corey resolved it under warranty at no extra cost. A third, working through a large addition in an old house, noted a few unexpected issues came up, "as is expected with a project of this size," and said CORE handled them fully. Repeat business is a recurring thread: several reviewers describe coming back for a second, third or fourth project — a kitchen, then a basement, then a deck — specifically because of how the first one went. Two Reddit threads (2021 and 2026) name CORE in response to direct requests for bathroom-remodel and historic-renovation contractor recommendations. Given the length and consistency of this record — years of named staff, resolved warranty issues instead of hidden ones, and real structural work done well — CORE reads as one of the more thoroughly documented remodeling outfits in the area. There's nothing here to caution against; the main thing worth confirming directly is current lead times, since a company this well-reviewed is likely to be in demand.

“CORE Remodeling out of Worcester”
We are currently at the start of a large renovation project. From the very beginning, CORE remodeling was responsive to our inquiry and communicated immediately. Corey met with us to discuss options and he has been extremely helpful in this elaborate process that we are undertaking. I strongly recommend them to anyone who has even the smallest to largest of projects. They will handle it with the utmost professionalism and patience necessary.
I recently hired CORE Remodeling Services to repair and renovate a vacation home. The house had sustained exterior and interior damage when a tree fell on the roof and allowed water to come in. Corey (the owner), Dane, Alaina, Bill, and the entire crew are a pleasure to work with! Their communication and customer service were absolutely fabulous throughout the entire process. If I had a concern, Dane and Bill listened and cared about my opinion, and made sure that I was satisfied with the end result. It was a huge project (at least for me!), and I was pretty worried about how it was all going to turn out, but the entire CORE team supported me every step of the way, and made sure everything was done right. I'm so glad I found CORE Remodeling. I plan on hiring them again for my next project!
A one word summary of CORE: Integrity The team was professional. Expectations were set and clear at the beginning. Communication was robust. Workmanship and products were excellent. Our project was completed on budget.
We decided to partner with CORE on a kitchen remodel after engaging with multiple contractors. We were immediately impressed with their professionalism, transparency, and the balance of price vs. quality on our original proposal. However, once we actually started on our contract, we were even more impressed. Throughout the process, every member of the CORE team was friendly, communicative, and accommodating, with an incredibly smooth design and planning process. Once construction started, every subcontractor was extremely skilled, hard-working, professional, and treated our home like their own. We finished our project both on time and within our original budget, never once had to ask for touch-ups or corrections, and have been thrilled with the results. We would absolutely recommend CORE for any project, and we will be happily working with them again on any future projects!
We have used Core to renovate all 3 bathrooms. When a leak occurred on the latest one, they responded quickly and fixed all damages under their warranty. They really do stand behind their work. And they are easy to work with.
