Costa Painting is a Framingham painting company run by Leandro Costa with one of the largest review bases of any painter in the area — 82 reviews across six platforms since 2019, nearly all of them five stars. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. This year's reviews describe more of the same: a full exterior repaint in June with rotten trim replaced around windows and doors and new railings installed, done by a crew that worked hard through the summer heat; an interior repaint finished on a tight deadline before a family's move-in date, with the crew staying in close contact throughout; and, in May, a week-long exterior job that fixed rotted trim and repainted the house, deck, and doors for a repeat customer whose first job with Costa had been an interior repaint a few years earlier. The pattern holds going back years. In a 2025 review, one customer's estimate came in lowest of three bids, and they said they couldn't imagine a better outcome after Costa repainted both sides of a two-family home's interior. In a May 2025 review, another client described hiring Costa twice in the same stretch — first in October 2024 to repair damaged siding and trim, then again in February 2025 to paint multiple rooms and levels. Other 2025 reviews describe old vinyl siding and shingles stripped and replaced before repainting, and exterior prep work — washing, sanding, caulking, carpentry — ahead of every job. A 2023 review recalls the owner, Leandro, personally answering a question within an hour. Two older written reviews — 2020 on Thumbtack and 2019 on Angi — describe the same painstaking prep (test paints and stains, scraping, sanding) that current reviews still mention; the 2019 review compared Costa favorably to three other local painters and a national chain. Pricing comes up as a strength as often as the finished work: quotes described as reasonable, competitive, or the lowest of several bids appear across reviews from 2023 through this year. The one blemish in an otherwise spotless record is a single 2026 review that called the communication "a bit convoluted" while still rating the finished job well. For an exterior repaint that needs real carpentry — rotted trim, old siding, a deck — or a full-house interior job on a deadline, Costa's record is unusually deep and consistent.
