Customers of Lasting Strength Carpentry talk about Adam by name, and they tend to hire him again. The Norwalk carpentry business holds 5.0 stars from 42 ratings on both HomeAdvisor and Angi, with written reviews running from 2016 to 2024, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. The jobs reviewers describe go well past trim. In a 2017 review, a couple who had bought a 1950s house had Adam and his team take down a wall between the living room and kitchen and build custom built-ins around the fireplace. Another 2017 customer hired the company to repair a deck on a 1983 North Stamford house; it turned into a complete tear-down and rebuild, done in a timely way at what they called a fair price, and they re-hired the crew for a second project. A 2018 couple had Lasting Strength gut-renovate their main bathroom and add a deck slider, and wrote that the crew found rot during the slider work and came up with a repair, cleaning up after every day. A 2016 reviewer said Adam remodeled and rebuilt their home after Hurricane Sandy damage and came in on time and on budget. A 2017 review describes a wall built in a single day to turn a play room into a bedroom, with Adam and his assistant Danny showing up early and setting the wall slightly off the existing one so a ceiling light could stay put. Kitchen work recurs: a 2019 customer had old cabinets and a granite counter removed, new drywall, new cabinets installed level and a tiled backsplash; a 2021 customer had a new kitchen framed, including a pantry in a difficult space. The latest review, from 2024, describes reshaping window openings, repairing rotted cedar siding and fixing a patio door so it would close and lock more easily. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0638127, is active, held by Lasting Strength.
The carpenter that did the job (Adam) was amazing. He had to expand the space for one window, narrow the space for another, and repair much cedar siding that had rotted away due to water damage. He also reshaped my patio door so it would close and lock more easily. He is a very talented carpenter and I have no qualms about highly recommending him.
I hired Adam and his team to frame and install my new kitchen including framing out a new pantry in a very difficult space as well as install a slider and reconfigure some walls. I am so pleased with the result. His attention to detail and work ethic are a rare find. I would recommend anyone needing any carpentry, framing, windows and doors work to contact him, you will not be disappointed.
Adam is very knowledgeable and experienced. His work is excellent. We will be using his services again. Highly recommended.
Adam was great to work with. He had a great idea for my sliding door replacement. We also had him replace some windows as well. He was always there when he said he would be, and communicate very well throughout the process. I will definitely use him for future projects.
Adam is a pleasure to work with. Great communication, excellent workmanship, and he knows his stuff. He does quality work, and makes sure the project is built strong to last.
