When a kitchen contractor left town overnight with a project only 70% complete, a 2024 customer said Chris of Creative Remodeling and Construction came in and finished it, including back door and siding installation, a backsplash and under-cabinet lighting. The company lists a service area running from Marlborough, Glastonbury, Hebron and Coventry out to Farmington, Simsbury and Canton, and says it has been in business 40 years. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0609925, is active on the state registry under CREATIVE REMODELING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC. It holds a 4.8-star average from 24 Google ratings. The work runs from whole rooms to exterior shells. A 2024 customer said Chris finished an unfinished bonus room over the garage, with roof trusses repaired, drywall, electrical and a mini split installed, and cleanup at the end of each day. A 2024 customer said Chris and his crew replaced all the doors, windows and siding on their home, added a covered porch, and repaired termite-damaged wood found during the project at a fair extra cost. In a 2024 review, a customer said the team matched new vinyl siding closely to 35-year-old siding on their front porch. Inside, a 2025 customer said Chris remodeled a bathroom and set up a new laundry room and pantry, on time and at the estimate he gave upfront. A 2024 customer had crown molding installed on the first floor and said Chris is assisted by Mark. A 2023 customer said Chris put in a new shower in a master bath and praised the tile work. A 2024 customer was unhappy with a kitchen: they said the island lights were not centered, outlets were not aligned across the backsplash, the stove hood vent tube was not to code and the stove door hits the cabinet doors. That customer also said the cabinet company told them the contractor changed the cabinet height without their knowledge, and that the contractor had an attitude when they raised concerns.
We had Chris totally remodel our bathroom, set up a new laundry room and pantry last year. Chris and his staff did an excellent job for us - everything was done on time and at the estimate that he provided upfront. After the project was finished, we contacted Chris to make some changes, which he did to our complete satisfaction. I very much appreciate Chris's professionalism, integrity and customer service and would highly recommend him to anyone.
Creative Remodeling & Construction LLC did a great and timely job for us. Chris and his crew completed replacing all doors, windows, siding and adding a covered porch to our home. They also repaired the hidden / unknown termite damaged wood discovered during the project at a very fair extra. As new owners of an older house and new to the area we hired Creative Remodeling & Construction based on the excellent reviews and a reasonable quote, especially compared to other reviews & quotes received. We are very pleased with the finished product and look forward to working with Creative Remodel and Construction on our next project. We would highly recommend Creative Remodeling & Construction LLC.
We first used Chris and his crew at Creative Remodeling & Construction a few years ago to knock down some walls and remodel our kitchen. We were extremely pleased with how it turned out so it was an obvious choice to have him install new siding, windows and doors this summer. Chris is honest and up front with all of the details from the beginning of the project until the end. He kept us well informed so there were no surprises. Him and his crew are friendly and can be trusted in your home. We’re looking forward to having Chris complete our next project!
Highly reccomend Creative Remodeling & Construction. We had crown molding installed on our first floor. Chris did an outstanding job. He is assisted by Mark who is does fine work. From the quoting process to the last paint coat put on - superb experience and work was performed.
We finally decided to change the exterior of our front porch and replace vinyl siding that was damaged. Chris and his great team did a marvelous job. Going above and beyond even matching so very close to a 35yr old siding. Always kept us informed while working, answered all our questions with a positive attitude. Definitely recommend Creative Remodeling for any future projects.
