The part a homeowner usually leans on isn't there. The BBB opened its file in 2010 and still marks the company Not Rated, saying it does not have enough information to issue one; it is not accredited, carries no customer reviews on that profile, publishes no complaint count, and shows no government actions. The only open-web note is secondhand and slight. An equipment dealer wrote on LinkedIn that he had known a longtime CSL supervisor across fifteen years of selling Bobcats and called him a professional client with respect in the industry. That is a supplier vouching for a colleague, not a homeowner describing a finished yard, and it can't carry a verdict on the work itself. This is the shape of a long-established contractor that has simply never built a public paper trail. Tenure counts for something — a landscaping outfit does not run three decades in one town by accident — but there is nothing here from people who hired them, in either direction. If you call, ask for recent local references and photographs of jobs like yours, and get the scope and price in writing before anyone breaks ground.
