Twenty-five homeowners have written about D Zacarias Landscape & Masonry between 2020 and 2024, and nearly every one of them names Diego — the owner who quotes the job and then works it with his own crew. The work runs from ordinary yard care to substantial hardscape. In a 2022 review a homeowner described a 1,200 square foot patio renovation that took in a paver patio, a pea gravel patio, sod, cobblestones and a new privacy fence, then twenty yards of mulch across the property, finished in a little over a week. A 2021 customer said Diego designed a walkway and stone veneer for the front of the house that she could not have imagined herself, and had promised the previous November to start at the beginning of the season — and did. Another, writing in 2023, described debris cleared, soil replaced and a wall built. Driveway work appears too: a 2024 reviewer had a driveway fixed and replaced and said she planned to bring the company back for retaining walls. The smaller jobs draw the same praise for turning up. A 2021 homeowner said the crew showed up the very next day; a 2020 customer had a quote one day and the crew the next morning, working three hours to cut back overgrown plants and trees and rake out the debris; another had leaves cleared and deadwood trimmed across three properties in a single day. Two customers put a mild qualification on their praise. Writing in 2024, one said plainly that the prices seemed "a little bit high" while adding she did not know the going rate and was happy with the result. Another, in 2023, wrote "not perfect but excellent value for the service provided" and still referred the company to others. Those are the only reservations anyone raises, and both customers said they would hire again. One thing to know before you compare quotes: Angi and HomeAdvisor both show 4.9 from 34 ratings, but they are the same 34 reviews published on two sister sites — treat it as one body of feedback, not two. The written record also runs 2020 to 2024, so ask for recent references and photographs of a job finished this season rather than relying on what is online. For a paved patio, a walkway, a wall or a season of yard work, this is a small owner-run crew with a consistent record of showing up, cleaning up and finishing on schedule.

I'm not going to lie, Diego and his crews is hardworking people and did a great job on landscaping. Prices is little bit high?... but I'm not sure since I don't know anything about landscaping. I am happy with my results. Definitely, hiring them again to do my next fence.

Not perfect but excellent value for the service provided. Crew was very professional and knowledgeable. If we need more work in the future, we fully intend to contact them again, and we've referred them to others.
