Moving a 750-pound wood stove onto a hearth was one job a customer described in a September 2018 Google review of Dan's Hauling and Moving. The crew worked out how to bring it into the house, then stayed while the customer fitted the legs and helped adjust its placement. The Longmeadow moving business has a 4.8-star Google average from 22 ratings. A January 2025 reviewer described a move booked through U-Haul. The customer had not supplied furniture wrapping or straps, but Dan brought those materials. They credited Dan, Steve and Josh with handling the furniture carefully and avoiding walls and doors. In February 2026, another customer praised Dan and his team for quickly and efficiently getting belongings onto and off the truck. Apartment moves feature in older accounts too. A July 2023 customer said Dan and Wilson helped them move out of an apartment and load a U-Box. In November 2016, a reviewer who had come from Maryland described Dan and Patrick carefully moving their belongings into an apartment and putting items in the correct places. That customer recommended the service for affordable moving help in western Massachusetts.
