Fourteen pine trees, each 75 feet tall, taken down, limbed out, trunks loaded up and the ground picked up: that is the job a 2026 customer described from Dana Lawrence and his crew. The company says on its website that it has provided tree removal and tree maintenance in the Central Maine area since 2016, and it holds 4.7 stars from 39 Google ratings. In a 2023 review, a customer said Dana and his crew showed up 3 days after the call and removed a 100 foot tree in a day; a laser mistake had put the estimate at 85 feet, and that 2023 customer said Dana did not charge extra once it was found. A 2023 customer said they had hired the company two years running to remove 15 trees between 60 and 85 feet tall, and that the work was done at the scheduled time. A 2025 customer said Dana and his helper took down two very old, large trees and saved a small Christmas tree growing right beside the first one. A 2024 customer said Dana returned the call quickly about dangerous limbs from two huge maples hanging over the house and driveway, came right over and quoted a very fair price. A 2024 customer had nuisance pines, an oak and low limbs cleared from around a generator, propane tanks and utility lines. In a 2022 review, a customer said Dana helped get permission from local code enforcement and finished the project within a couple of days. A 2022 customer said the crew removed a tree, cleaned up the debris and delivered firewood to the spot they asked for.
“When a tree falls in the neighborhood and no one sees it, did it happen? Well Dana Lawrence, a licensed arborist and owner of Dana Lawrence Tree Service, would take down the tree an”
Dana and his crew recently cut down 14 pine trees that were all 75’ tall, had them all taken down, limbed out and trunks loaded up and the ground picked up, very professional and reasonable, would highly recommend
Dana and his helper - took down 2 very old, large trees for us / did a wonderful job (saved my little Christmas tree that was right beside the first tree, not an easy task) and did an excellent job cleaning up after. Very hard workers !!! Can't thank them both enough.
I cannot recommend highly enough! Dana was professional and wonderful to work with. Unlike other services who provided a quote, he was easy to talk to and educational. His prices were unbelievably better and I didn't feel like he was taking advantage of my lack of knowledge for the project being completed. We own a tree lot and will be inviting his team back for all our future needs. Thank you Dana and team!
Gone are some nuisance pine trees, an oak tree & low hanging limbs, and the canopy that was overtaking my generator, propane tanks and utility lines . Dana and his crew did a great job! I am very pleased with the results. And his 4 legged crew member is so sweet and adorable. :-)
I had a lot of oak trees that needed to go. Dana came and did an amazing job and the price was very reasonable. I absolutely recommend him.
